DO YOU TAKE WALK INS?
- Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come-first-served basis
- Depends on availability. If there is no availability, we can set you up with an appointment—possibly the same week.
- Walk-ins are often limited to some small custom designs, flash or pre-designed tattoos.
- For a preferred day, time, or artist, please schedule an appointment in advance.
HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

- Artists schedule appointments after consultation.
- All appointments require a small deposit which then is applied toward/deducted from the final cost of the tattoo.
IS THERE PARKING?
- Convenient street meter parking is available (free after 8pm) on Kelton Ave. and Santa Monica Blvd.
- You can also find free street parking on Veteran Ave. (west of Kelton).
HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO GET TATTOOED?
- California law requires you to be at least eighteen.
- A government issued ID is required for your tattoo session or we cannot tattoo you.
- There are no exceptions to this law and parental consent is not an option.
WHAT ARE YOUR RATES?
- Our shop minimum is $150.
- Our hourly rate is between $150-$200 per hour (depending on the artist).
- The total cost will depend on many different factors, including size, detail, placement, etc.
- Our artists set their own rates and can discuss their hourly rate or total cost estimate.
- If you have a budget, please inform your artist of it during your consultation for a design that will fit your needs.
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
- Cash is always preferred, but we can also accept major credit cards, debit cards and other payment apps.
- Ask your artist for their preferred method of payment.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR A CONSULTATION?
- Be prepared to discuss the details of your tattoo idea, including the concept, placement, size, etc.
- It is helpful to bring legible reference photos or images to help illustrate what you have in mind.
WHAT DO I NEED FOR MY APPOINTMENT?
- Please arrive on time.
- Dress comfortable and appropriate for the tattoo (wear something that will easily access the area being tattooed).
- Be well rested, bring water and make sure to eat something 2-3 hours prior to your appointment.
- Do not arrive intoxicated, drunk, high and do not drink heavily the day before your appointment.
- You must present a valid state or government issued ID to get tattooed.
WHAT IS YOUR DEPOSIT POLICY?
- Deposits are required for all appointments.
- Deposits reserve and confirm your appointment time slot.
- Deposit payments will be applied toward/deducted from the final cost of the tattoo.
- Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE.
- Deposits cannot be applied toward merchandise or tips.
- Deposits cannot be transferred to another artist or customer.
- Deposit amounts depend on the tattoo design and are at the discretion of the artist.
- DEPOSITS WILL BE FORFEITED if any of the following occur:
- If you cancel or reschedule with less than 48 hours notice.
- If you are 30 minutes or more late without advance notice.
- If you reschedule an appointment more than once.
- If you arrive for your appointment intoxicated or without valid ID and cannot be tattooed.
- If more than 6 months pass without communication or attempt to schedule.
- If you do not complete your tattoo within 2 years.
- If you make major changes to your tattoo idea, concept, design, etc or decide not to get tattooed at all.
CAN I SEE THE DRAWING BEFORE MY APPOINTMENT?
- Drawings are available on the day of your appointment.
- Availability prior to your appointment is at the discretion of the artist.
CAN I BRING MY KID(S)?
- No one under 18 is permitted in the tattoo studio.
- Do not bring babies, children, or minors.
CAN I BRING MY PET?
- The Los Angeles County of Public Health's Safe Body Art Act prohibits any animals in a tattooing facility.
- Service animals are permitted in the lobby area and must not be left unattended at any time.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
- You may bring up to one guest to sit with you in the designated tattoo procedure area.
- Guests that are unruly or distracting, will be asked to leave.
CAN I DRINK OR TAKE SOMETHING FOR THE PAIN?
- Do not drink alcohol or take drugs before or during your tattoo session.
- If you are or appear to be intoxicated, we cannot tattoo you.
WHAT IS YOUR STERILIZATION PROCESS?
- All of our equipment and supplies used for tattoo appointments are single- use, purchased as pre-packaged and pre-sterilized.
- This includes needles, tubes and anything that can come in contact with the client’s skin while undergoing the tattoo procedure.
- All surfaces and equipment are thoroughly cleaned using hospital grade disinfectant and covered with disposable single-use medical grade covers for every tattoo.
MY TATTOO IS PEELING. IS THIS NORMAL?
- Yes. Don't worry and do not pick at your tattoo.
- Pulling at flaking skin or scabs will prolong healing and remove pigment.
- Please review our tattoo aftercare guidelines and continue this routine until the peeling stops.
IS SOME BRUISING NORMAL?
- Bruising can be normal on a healing tattoo.
I’M PREGNANT! CAN I GET TATTOOED?
- Congratulations! Unfortunately, we are unable to give medical advice on whether or not you should get a tattoo while pregnant and recommend you consult your doctor to make your decision.
- However, there is no official law against getting a tattoo while pregnant.
- Please note that taking an appointment to tattoo someone who is pregnant would be left to the discretion of each artist.
HOW LONG TO WAIT TO WORK OUT, GO SWIMMING, GET A TAN, ETC?
- Average healing time is approximately 2-3 weeks (sometimes less, sometimes more).
- For proper healing, avoid the following:
- Scratching or picking at your tattoo.
- Tight clothing that can cause irritation.
- Swimming (pools or ocean)Submerging your tattoo in water.
- Hot Tubs
- Saunas
- Baths
- Camping
- Gardening
- Sunning/Tanning
- Working out (especially at a public gym!)
WHAT ARE BLOWOUTS?
- A blowout looks like a bruise but is actually ink that has spread to other parts of the skin. It can fade over a few weeks or months as your tattoo fully heals.
- Certain skin is more prone to blowout, specifically older skin, thin skin, fatty areas, and generally unhealthy skin.
- Our artists are highly skilled in tattoo application and know how to avoid blowout—but depending on the area being tattooed, it can unfortunately be a possibility. If you experience blowout, reach out to your artist for potential solutions.
I HAVE A DARKER SKIN TONE. CAN I STILL GET A COLOR TATTOO?
- Absolutely! Contrary to what you may have heard, color tattoos are possible on darker skin tones.
- Some colors will show better than others, so talk with your artist to learn about the mechanics of color on different skin types.
HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOO TAKE?
- The length of time to complete a tattoo depends on many factors, including size, complexity, ink density, location, and composition.
- During your consultation, you and your artist can discuss an estimation of the time it can take to complete your tattoo as well as your skin type, skin health, fat composition, and muscle definition can all impact how long your tattoo will take.
- All estimates are subject to change but we are generally quite accurate in predicting how long a tattoo will take before you commit to the process.
- For tiny tattoos, please plan to be at the studio for at least half an hour for paperwork, stenciling, tattoo application, etc.
